Jenson Button drove another superb race at Shanghai and sometimes it is hard to fathom why he wants to leave the BAR and go to Williams next season.
I think BAR are a team on the way up and one of the biggest things going for them is Honda.
Honda have racing in their blood. Just think of the titles they have won with Ayrton Senna - just think of the bike titles they have won.
I will be very surprised if they don't do well in the next Grand Prix in Japan.
Suzuka is Honda-land and they potentially are going to be buying into the team as well.
So they are going to own part of the team and Geoff Willis and his technical team have done a superb job.
All I can think of for a reason is Williams in terms of their longevity and maybe BMW have shown Button some plans.
The heritage of the Williams team themselves are no-nonsense racers and he has been persuaded to go for it.
I said here weeks ago we must not under-estimate the long-term relationship between Jenson and Frank Williams.
It goes back a long way and he has ben trying to get him back for a while now,
Now BAR boss David Richards was suggesting in China at the weekend that it's going their way in terms of the contract remuneration board and they feel they have the upper hand.
I don't buy that yet because the first meeting was postponed because there was too much paperwork for them to go through.
They have reconvened for October 15 or 16 so we may may get an answer before Brazil but I think the whole situation is still touch and go.
Tony Jardine was talking to Stephen Joyce.
