Mercedes-McLaren's revival did not last very long after a poor show in Hungary.
I was very harsh on McLaren because they made a very bad tyre choice there.
With very hard tyres, they thought they would still be good on the track when temperatures drop.
Now they had a long-range weather forecast which told people there were going to be dull conditions on Friday and especially on Saturday.
When you've got very hard tyres like that, you need a good grid position in Hungary because of the lack of overtaking.
And they ended 10th and 12th becausd they made the wrong tyre choice.
Coulthard complained about it, saying they were far too conservative and paid the price.
Ultimately they had this electrical problem inside the engine which affected one of the cylinders and the car was misfiring and Kimi suffered his seventh retirement of the season.
Now that's not the way to go when you have got that talent and you've clawed your way back.
