Luiz Razia is confident of taking part in the final Formula One test in Barcelona after sponsorship disputes saw him sit on the sidelines last week.

Razia was confirmed as a Marussia driver for the coming season ahead of the second day of the first test in Jerez earlier this month.

Last season's GP2 runner-up then completed two days of testing that particular week, alongside fellow Marussia rookie Max Chilton, and should have been back behind the wheel last week.

Instead, Chilton drove on all four days at the Circuit de Catalunya, raising question marks over 23-year-old Brazilian Razia.

Razia has now confirmed there are contract issues with his financial backers, who are supporting him in his quest to compete in F1.

With the final four-day test due to start on Thursday ahead of the opening grand prix of the season in Australia on March 17, Razia has no doubts the problem will quickly be resolved.

Explaining his situation, Razia said: "In the contract there are third party responsibilities. We trust them, but there are some disputes."

Speaking to Brazilian newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, Razia added: "I do not think it is fair I am being crucified.

"We did the right things, just that it is out of our control. We will solve this. We only need a few days."
