Three-place drop for Vergne
Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne has been handed a three-place grid penalty for Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix after impeding the Williams of Bruno Senna during qualifying.

The French driver blocked the Brazilian late in Q1, leaving Senna gesticulating furiously at him as he saw his flying lap ruined.
The incident proved critical for both drivers when Michael Schumacher snuck through into Q2 with the chequered flag out at the end of the first part of qualifying. The German demoted Senna into the drop zone as Vergne just made the cut in 17th place.
Vergne will only actually drop two places as Schumacher serves a 10-place penalty, for crashing into the Toro Rosso man in Singapore, which moves the seven-time champion behind him.
