The assurances regarding Horner's deal come in the wake of rumours suggesting the 39-year-old was considering a switch to Ferrari.

Horner has been in charge of Red Bull since their inception in 2005, guiding them to a hat-trick of successive constructors' and drivers' titles over the past three years, with Sebastian Vettel at the wheel.

Red Bull's success has unsurprisingly resulted in gossip linking Vettel, chief technical officer Adrian Newey, and now Horner, with a move to Maranello.

But it is clear Horner remains committed to Red Bull, with his deal understood to run until the end of 2017.

Horner, Vettel and Newey will all be on hand on Sunday to unveil the team's new car, the RB9, at their Milton Keynes factory ahead of the 2013 Formula One season.
