Nakajima steps up from test driver for the final race of the 2007 season following Alexander Wurz's retirement.
It will be his debut race in F1, the Japanese driver having combined his testing role with a seat in the GP2 championship this season.
He has impressed in the lesser formula, earning the Rookie of the Year title after finishing joint fifth in the title race.
