Sinclair - can play on either flank (Allsport).
TREVOR SINCLAIR
Position: Midfield
Born: 02.03.73
Club: West Ham
Talented wide player who can operate on either flank, and that versatility could prove vital in the Far East.
First sprang to prominence with Blackpool, and eventually his superb form there produced a move to the Premiership and Queens Park Rangers.
He was picked up by the Hammers for a bargain £2million in 1998 after a dip in form, and has since proved himself one of the best in his position in the country.
Quick and skilful, Sinclair also provides defensive discipline as he's always willing to track back.
Put in a transfer request earlier this season in a bid to further his career, but a move to a bigger club failed to materialise by the end of the season.
Made his international debut against Sweden in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford late last year, winning the penalty from which David Beckham scored.
Was called up to the squad as cover for Kieron Dyer and David Beckham, but then returned home as both recovered from their respective injuries.
Danny Murphy's foot injury saw him fly out within 48 hours of his return, though, and Sinclair will now be looking to grab his chance with both hands.
