47 min: Sukur turns sharply and tries to slide in Sas, but Lucio steps in. The Bayer Leverkusen man then powers forward and wins a free-kick off Basturk.

21 min: Ronaldo and Rivaldo link up superbly just outside the box. Ronaldo slides in Cafu down the right. He shoots powerfully but Recber pulls off a superb save to concede a corner which Brazil waste.

20 min: Turkey take the free-kick short. It's knocked out to the right by Akyel who crosses with his left foot. Alpay climbs highest in the middle and heads goalwards but Marcos pushes it around the post.
