1998: Misses three England games through injury, but returns for 3-0 win
against Portugal at Wembley.
Is an integral part of Glenn Hoddle's World Cup team but he gives a

June - Stars as England concede just one goal on the way to the
quarter-finals in Japan. But during England's last-eight clash against Brazil,
Seaman is widely seen to be at fault for the South Americans' winner as
Ronaldinho's cross-cum-shot from a free-kick loops over his head and into the
back of the net. However David Beckham claims it would be an "absolute
disgrace" were Seaman to be vilified over the "fluke" goal.
