1423: Korea will play Italy in round two. The US, still playing against Poland, will face Mexico.
1422: It's all over in Incheon and Portugal are out. Korea have won 1-0 to send the Portuguese out. The USA will finish second in the group.
1421: Korea make a substitution to kill more time.
1421: Conceicao cuts in from the left but his shot is well saved by the keeper for a corner. Last chance now.
1420: Another one-on-one and Baia saves from Park Ji Sung.
1419: Keeper Baia runs forward with the ball but loses it, only for the offside flag to save him.
1418: Into injury time in Incheon and Portugal have still not scored. Three minutes extra time will be played.
1418: On the break, Ahn has the chance to kill Portugal off, but Baia saves well in a one-on-one.
1417: Xavier launches a long throw into the box. It is knocked down to Conceicao who drives against the inside of the post. So close.
1416: Portugal are wide open at the back now with everyone committed to attack. But Korea can't capitalise on this breakaway.

1412: GOAL - DONOVAN. The US have pulled one back. Donovan comes in at the far post to send a left-foot volley past the keeper and make it 3-1 with seven minutes left.
1411: Mathis volleys against the Polish post. The Americans' hopes of winning anything from that game are surely now over.

1404: Less than 15 minutes remain for Portugal to save themselves. The US result now looks irrelevant.

1400: That Korean goal has relegated Portugal to third place. The US are now in the second qualifying slot despite being 3-0 down to Poland.
1359: GOAL - PARK JI SUNG. Korea take the lead and as things stand Portugal are going out. Park brings the ball down on his chest and drives the ball through Baia's legs to open the scoring in Incheon.
1358: The US introduce former Coventry midfielder Cobi Jones in place of Earnie Stewart.
1357: The US, trailing 3-0, now look to be relying on Korea to score against Portugal. Having said that, Mathis has just chipped the ball over the keeper but also on to the roof of the net.
1356: GOAL - ZEWLAKOW. The Polish midfielder comes in unmarked to head hom after the corner had been played short and then knocked in from the left.
1355: Kryszalowicz drives wide for the Poles in the other game. But a corner is given - it must have been deflected.
1354: As things stand, Portugal are through, but with two less men, they must hold on for a point against Korea.
1353: A red card for Beto leaves Portugal down to nine men. His trip on Lee Young-Pyo earns him a second yellow and leaves his side in deep trouble.

1215: We're all set for the decisive games in Group D - the final group to be decided at the finals. Portugal meet South Korea in the crunch clash in Incheon. Korea need only a draw, but Portugal must win to guarantee their place in the last 16. In the other game, USA meet already-eliminated Poland. The Americans need a point to qualify. The group winner will face Italy in the second round. The team finishing second will meet Mexico.
