South Korea coach Guus Hiddink says his players
have no fears about what may lie ahead at this World Cup despite facing
well-fancied Portugal.
The Koreans gained their first finals win at their 15th attempt in the opener
against Poland, and after a 1-1 draw with the United States they are now on the
verge of a second-round place.
Despite performing in front of the expectant Red Devils, Hiddink believes the
co-hosts will not wilt under the pressure in their final Group D clash against
Euro 2000 semi-finalists.
"One of the things that has changed about this team over the last few months
is that we are not afraid anymore," said the Dutchman.
"We can even challenge the big teams because there is no fear."
