Denmark coach Morten Olsen claims his players will not be fooled by France's
position at the bottom of their group when they meet in Incheon on Tuesday.
While the Danes have picked up four points from their opening two games, the
reigning champions have so far endured a miserable defence of their crown.
Les Bleus kicked off the World Cup with a shock defeat to Senegal, and then
could only draw with Uruguay after having Thierry Henry sent off.
But Olsen said: "I am a realist and I know France are still the big
favourites. And for me, they are still the big favourites in the group.
"They are the team to beat and I am not looking at France as the bottom side
in our group.
"It's ridiculous, France are surely the strongest team so tomorrow we will be
the underdogs."
France need to win by two clear goals if they are to avoid becoming the first
champions to go out in the opening round since Brazil in 1966.
And Olsen believes they have been unfortunate to end up in this precarious
position.
"I thought the French have played quite well but they were unlucky in the
first game against Senegal," he said.
"Senegal played with a lot of enthusiasm but they also had the luck of the
draw.
"And then when you play with 10 men against Uruguay and can still dominate
the game, that speaks for the class of the world champions."
