Man of the match: Credit to Fernando Morientes for his two goals, but Javier De Pedro wins the award for his stunning performance down the left. Had a hand in all three goals and was a constant threat.

69 min: GOAL - MORIENTES. De Pedro works himself some space down the left and sends over a cross. Chilavert flaps at the cross, which sails over his head. Morientes - who got clear of his marker at the back post - chests the ball home into an empty net.

68 min: Arce's free-kick is met by an unmarked Gamarra, but he can only divert the ball over the bar.

67 min: De Pedro strikes the free-kick into the wall. The ball rebounds to Puyol and his shot flies into the crowd.

66 min: Morientes and Valeron break two-on-one but the latter is shown onto his right foot and can't get the shot away. Paredes then gives away a silly free-kick by fouling Valeron 10 yards outside his own box.

66 min: Arce gets clear down the right but his cross on the run is too deep.

64 min: De Pedro slides in Morientes down the inside left channel but his shot floats just over the bar.

63 min: Santa Cruz shows great pace to beat Hierro down the left but as he cuts in Casillas plunges to the ground to grab his cross.
