Man of the match: An impressive performance from Joseph Yobo at right-back for Nigeria deserves credit but for his two goals the award goes to Henrik Larsson.

90 min: Yobo breaks down the right in the closing stages, but the referee halts his attack by blowing the final whistle.

90 min: Into the final minute and Sweden are on the attack.

86 min: Yobo's free-kick from the right is flicked on at the front post to Ikedia at the back. He powers forward but his cross is palmed out by Hedman. West diverts the ball wide.

85 min: Ikedia runs out of room after breaking into the box. Ljungberg then does superbly to hold the ball up before Kanu wins a free-kick from his Arsenal team-mate.

84 min: Magnus Svensson replaces namesake Anders.

83 min: Yobo shoots from long range, but his effort strikes the post and bounces out. Kanu miskicks the rebound straight into Hedman's arms, although he was offside anyway.

82 min: Mjallby has to hack the ball off his own line as Utaka rounds the keeper and shoots.

81 min: The ball is knocked sideways to Svensson, but his effort is way off target.

78 min: Another flowing move from Sweden ends with Alexandersson dinking the ball in towards Andersson, but it's straight into Shorunmu's arms.

77 min: Ljungberg is back on, although he's not moving freely just yet.

76 min: The Arsenal man hobbles off for treatment as Magnus Svensson prepares to enter the fray.

74 min: Larsson breaks down the inside left channel but just miscontrols at the crucial moment and Okoronkwo clears.

73 min: Ikedia forces another corner down the right with a powerful run. Justice's ball in is scrambled clear at the back post by Andersson.

72 min: Andersson flicks the ball off West's head out to the left flank. Okocha sends it back over and West climbs unmarked at the front post - but he can only head it wide.

63 min: GOAL - LARSSON. Larsson strikes the ball to the goalkeeper's left and although Shorunmu dives the right way, he can't keep it out.

62 min: Shorunmu miskicks badly and gifts the ball to Allback. He breaks forward and passes it to Larsson in the box. He goes down under Udeze's challenge and the referee awards the penalty.

61 min: West has finally returned to the action with a big bandage wrapped around his head covering the stitches.

60 min: Yobo continues to impress at the back as he nicks the ball away from Ljungberg's toes in the area.

37 min: Okocha does brilliantly to break out from midfield. A lovely step over followed by a burst of pace into the box earns him a shooting chance. His effort is hacked clear by Lucic, but it strikes Mjallby and bounces on to the post. Fortunately for Sweden, it bounces clear and Lucic hammers it downfield.

35 min: GOAL - LARSSON. Ljungberg picks the ball up in the middle and slides it down the inside left channel. He takes two touches to round Okoronko before toe-poking the ball into the corner.

34 min: A lack of communication between Hedman and Mellberg almost lets in Ogbeche, but the ball drifts out for a goal-kick.

33 min: Okoronkwo heads the corner clear and Nigeria break. Okocha tries to link up with Aghahowa, but Lucic nips in to clear.

32 min: Svensson breaks down the left but his shot is blocked by Yobo.

31 min: Mjallby goes down in the box but his theatrical tumble only earns him a booking. There looked to be minimal contact and Mjallby made the most of it.

30 min: Okocha tries to lay the ball over the top, but it sails into Hedman's arms.

29 min: It's all Nigeria at the moment and Ogbeche gets a shooting chance, but his effort sails over.

27 min: GOAL - AGHAHOWA. After a spell of possession from Nigeria, Joseph Yobo picks up the ball down the right. His curling ball finds the head of Aghahowa, who diverts it past Hedman. The goal is followed by Aghahowa's usual back-flipping celebration.

25 min: Alexandersson cuts in and lays in Mellberg down the right, but Ogbeche tackles back well to halt the attack.

24 min: Aghahowa tumbles in the area under pressure from Mellberg - but his penalty appeal is turned down.

22 min: Svensson delivers down the left but Mjallby can only divert it behind for a goal-kick.

22 min: Lucic wins a free-kick down the left as West is penalised for shirt-pulling.

21 min: Justice has to hack the ball off the line as Mjallby meets the corner with a powerful header.

20 min: Larsson breaks past Okoronkwo into the area where he tumbles under a challenge. The referee waves play on and Ljungberg picks it up. He breaks past three men into the box and forces a corner down the right.

19 min: Bartholomew Ogbeche makes his first run forward, but Mjallby clears well down the right.

18 min: West breaks forward down the right and Johan Mjallby has to be alert to block out his cross.

17 min: Okocha drills in the shot, but it's always rising over the bar.

17 min: Udeze powers down the flank and forces a corner 15 yards from the Sweden goalline out on the left.

16 min: Niclas Alexandersson looks to spray the ball from right to left, but Allback can't keep it in play.

14 min: Okoronkwo comes across in behind West to halt a promising break from Allback.

12 min: Babayaro meets 'Jay-Jay' Okocha's cross from the right but decides to take it down rather than shooting. That gives Hedman the chance to claim at the back post.

11 min: Allback breaks forward but again West does well to halt the danger on the edge of his own box.

10 min: Celestine Babayaro's ball in towards Julius Aghahowa is well claimed by Magnus Hedman.

9 min: Svensson works himself some space 25 yards out and curls in a cross, but it's just off target.

8 min: Nigeria enjoy their first real possession of the match.

7 min: The assistant referee awards a corner to Sweden, but the man in the middle overrules, awarding a goal-kick to Nigeria.

2 min: Larsson breaks into the right-hand side of the box and lays it back to Marcus Allback. His shot from the edge of the box deflects just wide for a corner.

1 min: Taribo West has to dive in and slide the ball away from Henrik Larsson after Freddie Ljungberg finds him in space in the box.

Pre-match: Arsenal striker Kanu has lost his battle to be fit to take his place in the Nigeria line-up. He is replaced by John Utaka, while Justice Christopher and Garba Lawal replace Efe Sodje and Ifeanyi Udeze, the latter who is returning from suspension.

Sweden bring Southampton's Anders Svensson, who impressed as a substitute against England, in for his namesake Magnus. Patrik Andersson is still on the bench.
