Man of the match: The Koreans had at least eight contenders and the Poles none but the vote goes narrowly to Chong-Gug Song, tireless and dangerous down the right.

90 min: Ahn beats the Polish defence again and squares for Park whose shot flies just wide.

90 min: Olisadebe gets a clean header but it goes straight at the keeper.

90 min: There will be three additional minutes.

90 min: Ahn again drills in a shot which Dudek sprawls full length at but spills. The flag goes up as Du-Ri Cha closes in for the follow-up. Cha is booked for a boot in on the Polish keeper.

89 min: Cha comes on for Seol.

87 min: Poland concede a silly corner through Waldoch's poor header back to the keeper and Ahn's far-post header flies just wide.

86 min: Swierczewski is booked for a tackle from behind on the lively Ahn.

85 min: Song escapes down the right and feeds Ahn whose first-time shot is saved by Dudek.

83 min: Poland attack from the other flank and a cross is headed wide by an unmarked Kozminski but the flag is up for offside.

82 min: Poland win a free kick on the left and Krzynowek's free kick is punched away by Woon-Jae Lee as Olisadebe closes in.

80 min: Hajto is booked for a late tackle on Seol on the left-hand touchline.

79 min: Superb turn on the edge of the box by Ahn but his right-foot shot is rifled just past Dudek's right-hand post.

77 min: Zewlakow gets down the left and crosses. Olisadebe barges his own man Kozminsky out of the way but still cannot get in a real header.

75 min: Korea try to hit on the break and Chun-Soo Lee beats his man on the left before laying it back to Nam-Il Kim who takes too long and then hits a tame shot.

74 min: Kryszalowicz turns neatly on the right and sends over a testing cross that is cleared but Poland are at last exerting some pressure.

72 min: Zewlakow takes the free kick again and curls it well over the top.

71 min: The Poles have a free kick 30 yards out on the left but Park is booked for not retreating 10 yards.

70 min: The Poles at last threaten as Krzynowek gets clear down the left and sends over a tempting cross but skipper Myung-Bo Hong heads away to thwart the danger.

68 min: Ahn gets round the back from a throw-in and Waldoch comes across to concede yet another corner.

65 min: Marcin Zewlakow replaces Kaluzny for the Poles.

64 min: Sub Chun-Soo Lee escapes down the left but after taking on Zewlakow on the outside he fires into the side-netting.

63 min: Olisadebe skips round a tackle on the right and crosses low but Myung-Bo Hong is there to clear again.

61 min: Park races down the right flank again and wins a corner. Chun-Soo Lee comes on for the injured Sang-Chul Yoo.

58 min: Hajto sidesteps a tackle and blasts a shot which pole-axes Eul-Young Lee.

56 min: Poland win a free kick on the right and Krzynowek's dead ball is headed up in the air by Olisadebe but his flick is volletyed tamely wide by Marek Kozminski.

53 min: GOAL SANG-CHUL YOO. Poland lose the ball in midfield and it is picked up by Yoo who takes a stride forward and blasts a superb shot past Dudek who gets a hand to it but can't keep it out.

52 min: The long ball by Waldoch tries to release Olisadebe but he is again caught offside.

51 min: Goalscorer Sun-Hong Hwang goes off to be replaced by Jung Hwan Ahn while injured Jacek Bak is replaced by Tomasz Klos for Poland.

50 min: A long punt into the middle is headed behind by Waldoch under pressure and the corner is headed on by Seol to Park whose first-time volley is tipped over brilliantly by Dudek.

48 min: Swierczewski gets the down the left but his cut-back is blocked by Myung-Bo Hong.

46 min: South Korea get the second half under way in control with the Poles desperately in need of a lift and bringing on Pawel Kryszalowicz for the ineffective Zurawski.

45 min: The fourth official announces one minute of additional time.

44 min: Seol is found again down the left and his cross is headed away before Sun-Hong Hwang arrives at the far post.

42 min: Seol tries to escape down the left but Park's pass is just over-hit and goes into touch.

40 min: Waldoch's long free kick is towards Kaluzny again but he is penalised for pushing as the Poles are just playing long balls up to the strikers.

38 min: Song picks up another loose ball and tries to play in Seol who fires past Dudek but the flag is already up for offside.

36 min: Kaluzny tries to get on the end of Waldoch's long free kick but can do nothing to direct the header on target.

34 min: Olisadebe gets to the by-line after Myung-Bo Hong slips but his cut back is hacked clear by a massed Korean defence.

33 min: Jacek Krzynowek becomes the first player booked for a late tackle on Sang-Chul Yoo in midfield.

32 min: Eul-Young Lee takes the corner but Kaluzny heads the ball away.

31 min: Seol almost outstrips the Poles again for pace and Waldoch comes across to concede another corner.

29 min: Song looks for Park down the right and he pressures the defender into conceding a corner. Dudek claims the dead ball under no challenge.

26 min: GOAL SUN-HONG HWANG. Eul-Young Lee clips a neat near post cross and it is turned in skilfully on the half-volley by Hwang for a deserved opening goal.

26 min: Sun-Hong Hwang is blocked raiding down the right and Song's free kick is headed away again by Hajto.

25 min: Olisadebe tricks Tae-Young Kim in the corner but his cross goes straight to the keeper with no Polish player in the box.

24 min: Jacek Bak tries a speculative long ball towards Olisadebe but it drifts out for a goal kick and Poland have lost their way a bit.

22 min: Seol is tripped on the left touchline but Eul-Young Lee's free kick is far too close to Dudek.

21 min: The Poles fail to clear again and the ball is picked up 30 yards out by Sang-Chul Yoo who drills a low shot just wide.

20 min: Seol gets an inch of space in the box yet again but his angled shot is blocked and when he retrieves the ball, it goes the far post where Chong-Gug Song just misses the chance.

19 min: Sun-Hong Hwang gets down the left but his cross is far too deep and goes out of play on the far side.

17 min: Zurawski picks up a square ball just outside the box and lays it off to Swierczewski but his shot skids well wide as he is falling over.

16 min: Seol is freed in the box by Ji-Sung but he cannot shake off Hajto who eventually blocks his scuffed shot.

14 min: A Polish corner is not cleared properly and when the ball falls to Radoslav Kaluzny, he slices a 15-yard volley well wide.

13 min: Olisadebe gets in behind the Korean defence but when he cuts inside to improve the angle for a shot, Tae-Young Kim makes a saving tackle.

11 min: Nam-Il Kim's corner finds Seol unmarked 10 yards out but he heads into the turf and it bounces up easily for Dudek.

10 min: Myung-Bo Hong steps past a tackle and blasts a 25-yard shot against a Polish defender and away for a corner.

8 min: Zewlakow is penalised for a trip on Seol near the corner flag but Tae-Young Kim's dangerous free kick is headed away at full stretch by Tomaz Waldoch.

7 min: Nam-Il Kim tries to release Ki-Hyeon Seol down the right wing but Tomasz Hajto comes across to concede the throw.

5 min: Poland raid down the left and Piotr Swierczewski to Maciej Zurawski who fires a low cross that misses everyone incluing Michal Zewlakow coming in at the far post.

4 min: Olisadebe bursts through the Korean half and releases Jacek Krzynowek coming in from the left but his tame shot flies into the side-netting.

3 min: Foul on Nam-Il Kim but the Poles clear a dismal free kick at the near post.

1 min: Colombian referee Oscar Ruiz blows the whistle and Poland get the match under way.

Pre-match: The co-hosts have Ji Sung Park, who scored in the recent friendly against England, in midfield but Jung Hwan Ahn is left on the bench. Liverpool's Jerzy Dudek is in goal for the Poles who have Nigerian-born, Greek-based Emmanuel Olisadebe in attack for a team who qualified for the tournament in style.
