Moved to Numancia in Spain aged just 17 and has since had spells with Atletico Madrid and Levante before returning to his first club.
Combines great skill with an unstinting desire to win the ball when not in possession.
Perhaps a little young to force his way into the starting line-up this summer, but sure to be around for a long time to come.
