Formerly of Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna, Songo'o now plies his trade in the French league with Metz.
The 37-year-old enjoyed a successful time in the Primera Liga, landing the Goalkeeper of the Year award in 1997 and helping Depor land the championship in 2000.
His presence in the squad is vital for the youngers players and his experience has been crucial to the development of Idriss Kameni.
