Udinese are more than grateful for the services of a player whose name literally means 'thank you'.
His impressive goalscoring exploits with South African side Kaizer Chiefs earnt him a call-up to the national Under-23 side, before he was selected to the full team for the first time in 1999.
Since then he has been a regular with Bafana Bafana, picking up 30 caps and five goals in the process.
He moved to Serie A at the start of 2001, but it was not until the back-end of the year that he finally got his chance in the Udinese first team.
Initially employed as a wide player, he began to play back in the centre towards the end of the past season, where he is beginning to get accustomed to the European style of play.
Barring injury, he should be a definite starter alongside Benni McCarthy in the finals.
