A three-year exile from the international game ended in April this year for this Lokomotiv wide man, when he featured in the game against Ecuador.

He had accrued four caps back in 1999, but after being sold from Jomo Cosmos to Paralimni of Cyprus, found himself out of favour with Bafana Bafana.

However, his former coach at Cosmos, Matsilele Sono, is now in charge of the national side, and he offered a recall to the midfielder after a subsequent move to Bulgarian team Lokomotiv Sofia.
