This Port Elizabeth-born goalkeeper began his career with hometown team Michau Warriors, before moving on to Seven Stars.

Struggling to win regular first-team appearances, he was loaned to Cape Town Spurs and a move to the newly-formed Ajax Cape Town followed in 1999.

A graduate of the country's 'B' team, he is unlikely to feature at this summer's finals with both Hans Vonk and Andre Arendse ahead of him in the pecking order.

This fact was highlighted when the Bafana Bafana played Madagascar in their last home friendly when he was the only player in the squad not to get a run out.
