Eriksson has described Cole as his "fantasy" player and that ability to
transform games has ensured his call-up as he has the rare quality of being able
to go past opponents. He has managed to add more responsibility and bite to his
game, as was seen against Paraguay, after his naivety had shone through the
previous month against Italy.
Has the ability to be a world star, but maybe not just yet.
It would be a surprise if Cole makes the starting line-up in the Far East, but he could be a potent weapon coming off the bench.
Only real weakness is a tendency to give the ball away too easily, but that partly is only down to his willingness to take people on.
Fantastic long-term prospect.
