A product of Beveren's much-vaunted goalkeepers' school, De Vlieger plays his football in the Dutch top-flight with Willem II.
Moved to Anderlecht as a youngster where his battle to be number one for both club and country started with former Red Devil Filip De Wilde.
Unsettled following his club's poor season and has been linked with a move back to Belgium.
