Taribo West has courted his fair share of controversy during his career, all of which has masked the genuine ability he possesses.
Currently unattached after falling out with Kaiserslautern earlier in the season, West has previously claimed to have joined Liverpool when a deal was far from done and is going through a high-profile divorce.
But when on the pitch West is a powerful defender who has played in two of the best leagues in the world.
After breaking in to the European game in 1993 with Auxerre West has gone on to play for the likes of Inter and AC Milan while he also enjoyed a brief spell with Derby in the Premiership.
A winner of Olympic gold with Nigeria in 1996 West is sure to catch the eye in the Far East, particularly with his distinctive hairstyle.
