Ahmed Dukhi Al Dossary was one of the key figures in the Saudi qualifying campaign, playing in all eight final-round games.

At the tender age of 21, he was part of the squad at the last World Cup in France, but really came to the fore at the Asian Championships of 2000 in Lebanon when he was one of the stars as the Saudis reached the final before losing 1-0 to Japan.

Usually found playing on the right-hand side and is particularly feared at the opponents' end of the pitch as he possesses a powerful shot.
