Before joining them he also had spells with Poitiers and Chataeauroux. Was the rock at the centre of the Senegal defence as his team reached the African Nations Cup final earlier this year before finally losing out to Cameroon.
Tough-tackling player whose explosive pace makes him one of the best stoppers on his continent.
Will be hoping that this summer's finals showcase his talents on the biggest stage of all.
He will hope to convince the top clubs in England, Spain and Italy that he is a star worthy of a place in Europe's premier leagues.
