Boris Zivkovic has played an important role for Bayer Leverkusen this season as the German side challenged for both domestic and European honours.
Although he concentrates mainly on central defensive duties for his club side, national coach Mirko Jozic has played him at fullback and in midfield in recent matches.
A solid technical player, Zivkovic's versatility is perhaps his key asset at international level.
Although not a regular scorer, the defender was on the mark for Croatia in a recent 2-0 friendly win over South Korea.
In good form following a successful campaign at the BayArena, Zivkovic looks ideally placed to make his presence felt in Japan/Korea this summer.
