Ruslan Nigmatullin exploded onto the international scene in fine style after making his debut two years ago.
The Lokomotiv Moscow number one kept a clean sheet on his debut against the United States and went on to do likewise in his next four internationals.
He continued his impressive record during World Cup qualifying - conceding just five goals throughout the campaign as Oleg Romantsev's men topped their group.
Nigmatullin has been with Lokomotiv since 1998 after moving across Moscow from Spartak.
He had won the Russian League there and has gone on to win two Russian Cups with his current side as well as gaining valuable experience in the Champions League.
Has now firmly established himself as the first-choice number one after forcing Aleksandr Filimonov and Dmitri Kharine out of the side.
