STEVE FINNAN

Born: 24.04.76
Club: Fulham
Attacking full-back who has been making a big impression on the Premiership this season. Player who loves to get forward and can also play in midfield. Born in Limerick, he moved to London as a youngster, and eventually made his way into the professional big-time at Notts County.
His form there led to a £600,000 move to Fulham in late 1998, and Kevin Keegan's decision to buy him has since looked to be an inspired one.
By now Finnan had already started to impress for the Republic Under-21s, and eventually made his senior debut against Greece in April of 2000.
Last season he was superb as Fulham romped to the Nationwide One title, and has since been proving himself against the best in the Premiership.
Could be a revelation this summer if he gets the nod from Mick McCarthy.
