Club: Inter Milan The star of Uruguayan football, Recoba currently plies his trade with Italian giants Inter Milan.
He tends to play slightly deeper for his country than he does for Inter, but is equally effective either in midfield or slightly further forward.
A dead-ball specialist, Recoba was picked up by Inter after an incredible start to his career in his native country.
At Danubio Recoba scored an amazing 32 goals in 31 games, and then followed that up at Nacional by netting 30 goals in just 27 games.
On his debut for Inter he scored twice within 20 minutes – one of them from fully 40 yards out – to ensure he would be a firm favourite at the San Siro.
