Experienced keeper with excellent reflexes.
Showed his shot-stopping abilities during the play-off with Romania when he was a key player in seeing Slovenia to the finals.
In the second leg, Romania piled on the pressure as they searched for an all-important second goal but Simeunovic stood firm with a string of high-class saves.
Previously played in the Champions League after winning the Slovenian League title with Maribor, and also at Euro 2000.
Also has club experience in Sweden and Turkey.
Definite first-choice for the national team, provided he is fully fit.
