It is Rudonja who scored a spectacular goal in Bucharest last year which ultimately sent Slovenia to the World Cup finals.
And two years before, he had also bagged the deflected goal that booked his country's place in Euro 2000 against Ukraine.
Now plying his trade in Nationwide One with Portsmouth having played for numerous clubs during his career. Has previously been employed in Belgium, France and Switzerland and the phrase 'more clubs than Jack Nicklaus' certainly applies.
Often plays in a wide role, but is gradually losing his pace and has tended to move inside in recent times.
Having played in all the qualifying ties, is an almost certain starter for the first finals match with Spain.
