Spanish star Diego Tristan remains in doubt for
Sunday's match against the Republic of Ireland.
The Deportivo La Coruna striker has sprained his left thigh and is unlikely to
make it for the second round match against Mick McCarthy's team.
"He is better, but needs three or four days to be well. It will be close,"
Spanish team doctor Genaro Borras said.
The 26-year-old was injured during Spain's 3-1 win over Paraguay.
He also
played in Spain's first game against Slovenia but was unavailable for
Wednesday's match against South Africa.
