DAEGU, June 9 (World Cup) - Slovenia's Nastja Ceh believes his country's early exit from the World Cup is down to bad luck more than anything else. Their first-ever appearance in the finals has been less than spectacular as they crashed to a 3-1 defeat to Spain in their opening game and fell 1-0 to South Africa yesterday. They now prop up Group B with no points and no chance of qualifying whatever the outcome of their final match against Paraguay. And last week, the squad was deprived of the influential Zlatko Zahovic, who was sent home in disgrace after a bust up with team coach Srecko Katanec, who also announced he was quitting after the tournament. "We were not lucky in the South Africa game and in general throughout the whole World Cup," said Ceh. "We tried everything possible and played well, but it was not enough. "South Africa demonstrated that they are a good side that played just well enough to win." His team-mate Aleksandar Knavs added: "Our mistake was that we did not concentrate properly in the opening minutes of yesterday's game. "But I think we demonstrated that we can compete against any team on our day." Slovenia's final game is against Paraguay in Seogwipo on Wednesday. end
