Cameroon captain Rigobert Song will face a
fitness test before the Indomitable Lions face Germany in their final Group E
game on Tuesday.
Song damaged ankle ligaments during the 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia last week,
but should return for the match.
The defender, who spent much of last season on loan with German side Cologne
from English club West Ham, has not trained with the squad since picking up the
injury.
Winfried Schaefer's side need to beat Germany to guarantee qualification but
could also proceed with a draw if Ireland fail to beat Saudi Arabia.
