Argentina duo Roberto Ayala and Claudio Caniggia
are expected to be fit for the crunch Group F clash with Sweden.
According to Argentina's press manager, Andres Ventura, both have almost
recovered from their injuries.
The news will be a relief to national team boss Marcelo Bielsa as he prepares
his side for a game they must win to be sure of a place in the last 16.
Ayala, Argentina's captain, was injured in the warm-up for the 1-0 win over
Nigeria.
He missed that match and also the defeat to England but will take Diego
Placente's place if he starts against Sweden.
Caniggia hurt his knee playing for Rangers in the Scottish Cup final win over
Celtic.
The 34-year-old is training normally but, as he has not started a game in over
a month, will take his place on the bench.
