Turkey's sport minister Fikret Unlu is backing
Senol Gunes' side to reach the next stage of the World Cup.
Unlu was speaking on a visit to the national team's training camp in Seoul
ahead of Sunday's vital match with Costa Rica.
The Turks go into the clash needing all three points after an unlucky 2-1 loss
to Brazil which saw them have two men sent off.
Defeat on Sunday would see them return home early from their first finals since
1954, while the Central Americans are looking to reach round two after a 2-0
victory over China in their opening Group C match.
Unlu is backing the Turkish to win both the remaining games and qualify for
the second round.
He said: "There will always be some critics, but you have to tolerate them.
"We will beat Costa Rica for sure.
"The Brazil game was unfortunate. We lost it because of the negative effects
of the referee.
"We found the players well, they are in top form and have good morale."
