Tunisia goalkeeper Ali Boumnijel has called on his
team-mates to forget their opening Group H defeat against Russia and look for
victory against Belgium on Monday.
The Bastia player came into the side after the retirement of fellow veteran
Chokri El Ouaer following a decade in the shadow of the Esperance goalkeeper.
And the 36-year-old urged his compatriots not to waste what could be his last
opportunity at a shot at World Cup success.
"We hope we can move on from the defeat," he told Tunisian newspaper La
Presse.
"It will be necessary to keep this motivation up until the 90th minute of the
match against the Belgians.
"There is plenty of solidarity in the squad, a good environment.
"One is aware of the positivity that the group has and that is productive.
"We do not have the feeling that the next match will be the same.
"It is important that we stay focused, but take some risks."
