Denmark coach Morten Olsen has refuted claims his
side will be playing for a draw when they meet France in Tuesday's deciding
Group A clash.
The Danes need a point to book their place in the last 16, and condemn the
defending champions to a shock exit.
Some believe Olsen will pack the defence and play for a goalless draw, but the
former Ajax boss is adamant his side must try to win.
He told Ritzau: "We must attack the match and go out and show that we want to
win. We always do that, no matter what the circumstances are.
"In all tournaments you have the possibility to know what happens in other
matches by phone, but we know go into the match knowing the situation is in our
hands.
"It's all about our own game and that's what I want to focus on today and
tomorrow. On the match day I will start to think about France."
Meanwhile, Everton midfielder Thomas Gravesen believes Denmark have a
psychological advantage over their opponents.
Gravesen says the French will struggle in the afternoon heat as they have
played both matches so far late in the evening.
He added: "They simply haven't the time to get use to the heat, and that's
why the heat will be an advantage for us this time.
"The French players are not used to playing in this heat."
