American striker Joe-Max Moore is looking forward to an electric atmosphere when the USA take on co-hosts South Korea in Daegu on Monday.

Both the US and the Koreans have three points after pulling off surprise victories in their opening games against Portugal and Poland respectively and Moore expects the showdown to be a great occasion.

"The atmosphere will be amazing, especially when you hear the crowd and they start to play a part in the game," said Moore.

"Fortunately for us, I think in this game, the stands are back quite a way from the field, so they won't be right on top of us.

"But there's no doubt that it's going to be hard to talk and hard to communicate between the players, and the Korean fans will be dressed in red, I'm sure, again," he told www.ussoccer.com.

"I'm looking forward to it, I think it's going to be a great atmosphere."

The Everton hitman feels that all the pressure will be on the home side to deliver, with the fervent red army expecting a repeat of their impressive victory over the Poles.

"I certainly think there is more pressure on them than us," he added.

"They've got the hopes of an entire nation on them, and we do to a certain extent, but I think now with their past few results they're expected to get to the second round.

"You saw how well they played against France, England and Poland, I think the Korean population now thinks they they can definitely get there."

USA head coach Bruce Arena echoed the sentiment and believes the strength of the Korean team will be their speed and movement off the ball, which could undo the American defence.

"Clearly fitness and how they can push the pace of the game, I believe, are the strengths of the Korean team," said Arena.

"But I will be selecting a line-up that I think will give us the best possible chance to win."
