Tunisia coach Ammar Souayah admitted that his side
had learned the price of a mistake at the World Cup after defeat to Russia.
For the second successive finals, the North Africans lost their opening game
2-0 and Souayah feels his players now appreciate the cost of error.
The Russians went ahead after a mistake in defence allowed Yegor Titov to
benefit and Valery Karpin netted the second from the penalty spot.
And a wiser Souayah told Tunisian newspaper Le Presse: "Against a strong and
tested team, the smallest error costs dear.
"We took time to get into the game but there was also a difference in
physical size.
"And when one team is also slower, the problem becomes insurmountable."
Goalkeeper Ali Boumnijel agreed and said: "We created chances but missed a
few.
"But conceding two goals in four minutes does not help. There was not time to
react afer the first goal."
Defender Hatem Trabelsi said: "It's a pity that fortune did not smile on us.
If we had marked properly, we'd have gained a point."
