Japan striker Takayuki Suzuki believes no-one
should be surprised by the co-hosts' performances at this World Cup.
Belgium struggled to a 2-2 draw against the Japanese on Tuesday, and only
escaped with a point thanks to Junichi Inamoto's late strike being chalked off
for a foul which was not evident of TV replays.
Suzuki said: "We played up to our own expectations. We are happy but we've
got to think about our next game."
Japan face Russia, winners against Tunisia in their opener, in Yokohama on
Sunday.
