Diego Tristan insists he will be firing on all
cylinders in Spain's second Group B match against Paraguay in Jeonju on Friday.
Tristan was troubled by an ankle injury during Spain's opener against
Slovenia, which they won 3-1, and replaced in the second half by Fernando
Morientes.
But the Deportivo La Coruna striker reckons he is now fully recovered and
ready to make Paraguay suffer.
"I don't feel any pain now," said Tristan. "I am in perfect shape and I'll
prove that in the next game."
Real Madrid star Raul set Spain on their way against Slovenia and Tristan will
be keen to get in on the goalscoring act.
"I don't think I played poorly against Slovenia," said Tristan. "I did my
best despite my ankle injury."
Real Mallorca defender Nadal reckons Paraguay "will be tougher opponents than
the other teams" but is determined to build on Spain's winning start.
"Paraguay are a strong team but we'll play the way we've been playing and
what is important for us now is to make sure we advance to the second round."
