Picture Jorgensen was on the bench against Uruguay (Allsport)

JORGENSEN HOPES FOR START

By PA Sport Staff

Martin Jorgensen will demand an explanation from Morten Olsen if he is on the bench for a second straight game when Denmark play Senegal.

Jorgensen, who carried a slight knock into the opening game against Uruguay, supplied the winning cross for Jon Dahl Tomasson as the Danes won 2-1.

But he was not in the team which contained the first game's starters in Denmark's last training session.

Jorgensen told Politiken: "It's all right to come from the bench the first couple of times and create a goal, but then I want to be in the line-up, and normally you play with the strongest team, don't you?

"I can understand that Morten Olsen used me as a substitute in the first match, but I would demand a good explanation, if I don't play on Thursday."
