Croatia captain Robert Prosinecki is hoping to
play a full part in his team's match with Italy after lasting just the first
half of their opener.
The playmaking midfielder was taken off at the interval, with coach Mirko
Jozic suggesting his skipper was below par.
And Prosinecki admitted: "It's never be good to be substituted.
"I did not want it, but that is football."
Following the 1-0 defeat by Mexico, Prosinecki remains optimistic ahead of
Saturday's game with the Group G favourite Italians.
"We have the opportunity to pick up again. We will be better," he promised.
