Belgium left-back Nico van Kerckhoven has been ruled out of Monday's meeting with Tunisia.

The Schalke defender, who missed Tuesday's draw with Japan, is still struggling with a left thigh strain and the prognosis from the Belgian medical staff is pessimistic.

"He is still recovering," doctor Marc Gossens told Gazet Van Antwerpen. "This match will come to soon."

For Glen de Boeck, however, who also missed the Japan game, the future looks brighter.

His ankle is recovering well, and the Anderlecht captain already started on an individual training schedule.
