Paraguay defender Francisco Arce remains confident of reaching the last 16 of the World Cup despite the disappointing draw with South Africa.
The South Americans blew a two-goal lead against the Africans, eventually drawing 2-2.
But Arce, who scored a stunning free-kick in that Group B clash, believes qualification can still be achieved.
He said: "It hurt us a lot drawing in that way.
"But we have matches against Spain and Slovenia to get the points we need to qualify to the second round."
The Palmeiras star has set his sights on causing an upset in their next match against Spain in Jeonju.
Arce admits the Spanish will be favourites on June 7, but feels Paraguay have nothing to lose.
He added: "Spain can be considered the better team, but theory and practice are different.
"You have to play the matches and not underestimate anybody because you can have surprises.
"And I guess that if we defeat Spain, we're almost in the second round."
