Denmark aim to use wingmen Jesper Gronkjaer and
Dennis Rommedahl to exploit what they see as Senegal's defensive naivety.
The Africans caused a massive upset last Friday when they defeated World Cup
holders France 1-0 in Seoul in the World Cup opener.
Despite their impressive performance, however, Denmark assistant coach Peter
Bonde has seen a few weaknesses in Senegal's play which the Danes can use to
their advantage.
Morten Olsen's side produced an impressive display of their own to beat
Uruguay 2-1 in their Group A opener on Saturday.
"The two central defenders are very strong but from time to time they move
quite slow, and that fits perfectly to the deep runs which Jon Dahl Tomasson
makes," said Bonde.
"Jesper Gronkjaer and Dennis Rommedahl will get lots of opportunities to
break through.
"The two Senegal full-backs are playing too casual and way too offensive and
we can punish that."
Bonde is also aware of the threat posed by Senegal though, mainly through star
striker El Hadji Diouf and skipper Aliou Cisse.
"Their captain, Cisse from Montpellier, is the connection between the defence
and attack," he told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
"Mentally I think we are the strongest but the match will have a lot of
personal duels.
"African teams do not have a tradition of showing stability in long
tournaments but we must stop their striker Diouf.
"He is quick and Martin Laursen can match him over a long distance but not
over the first few metres."
