Ecuador coach Hernan Dario Gomez is not going to alter his approach for Monday's game against Italy.

The South Americans, in their first-ever World Cup, know they are going up against one of the favourites for this summer's tournament.

"We will play as we always do, with a 4-5-1 scheme," the Colombian coach said. "Agustin Delgado will be the forward, a lot of order and no personal coverage."

Ecuador also face Croatia and Mexico in Group G.
