Mexico coach Javier Aguirre is confident his team can win their opening World Cup match against 1998 semi-finalists Croatia on June 3.
Aguirre believes three points against Croatia will go a long way to securing their passage from Group G which also contains Ecuador and much-fancied Italy.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Aguirre said: "I will not settle for a draw with Croatia. I want the three points.
"I know the Croats very well and I can tell you they are not as strong as they were four years ago."
