Nigeria defender Celestine Babayaro was able
to train with his team-mates for the first time on Tuesday after joining up with the
rest of the World Cup squad.
Babayaro, who plays his club football for Chelsea, had until Monday to
reach the training camp or lose his place in the side after staying in London to
receive treatment on a thigh injury.
He was due to arrive in Hiratsuka last week but did not provide an acceptable
explanation to the authorities for his failure to turn up.
The Nigerian squad will gather in Ibaraki on Friday to prepare for their first
Group F match against Argentina.
